In light of fires involving portable chargers (power banks) in Japan and abroad, we ask that you observe the following when using a portable charger in your room.
- Do not leave a portable charger charging while you are out of the room.
- When charging, do not place the charger in direct sunlight or on a bed or other flammable material.
- Use it only where you can keep an eye on it at all times.
If hotel staff find a portable charger being used in any of the above conditions, for example during housekeeping, they may move it for safety.
